Bethel, Maine

I went to Maine last week with my parents to do some wedding planning. The Bethel Inn is beautiful in the summer and everyone we have hired for our wedding is wonderful. Our wedding is only two months away!

This is Pooh Corner Farm, where we are getting our flowers.

Here is the Bethel Inn!

This is the area where our ceremony will be held.

The Bethel Inn has a lake house just up the road. This is the view of the lake from the lake house.

Katie and John’s Wedding

Katie and John’s wedding was last weekend in Carmel Valley. It was a beautiful weekend and a fabulous wedding. Here are a few photos of the ceremony. For more photos check out the wedding gallery on my photos page.

Congratulations John and Katie!

Conservatory of Flowers

For Father’s Day Dad, Bryan and I rode our bikes to Golden Gate Park for a free day at the De Young Museum. We also visited the Conservatory of Flowers, which I had never been to before. There was a butterfly exhibit which was incredible, in addition to the beautiful flowers. We played with our cameras and all captured the beauty and delicate nature of this wonderful place.

Memorial Day Weekend

We packed up the Westy on Friday and drove up to Burney Falls State Park near Mt. Lassen. It was a rainy weekend but we camped, hiked to the waterfall, and relaxed around the campfire. On Saturday we drove to Lassen National Park. The road through the park was closed due to snow! We went as far as we could before turning back at the road closure. We camped at Milsap Bar, a Forest Service Campground on the Feather River on Saturday night. It was quite a trek down a 9 mile dirt (I should say mud) road. It was a great two days, but we are happy to be home and out of the rain!
